Read the fine print …

and you’ll realize like me why these cookies are so yummy. Can you say fattening? If not, try this: enough energy to raise one cc of water 480 degrees!

Honestly, I didn’t think anyone would get the correct answer and the exercise physiology major in me really wanted to stump you with the trick question on every Nutrition 115 final exam, where you have to read the fine print and the servings per container which can double or even triple your totals. I mean Wow — 30% of my daily fat requirement in one cookie. Needless to say, I need to unload some of these calories sitting around my office.

So … the winner and recipient of happy mail, going out tomorrow is:
Dominique, for the correct answer of 480 calories in the Lemon Poppyseed cookie. I’m also going to send Jennifer a cookie — she just has to promise to split it with her friend, so she doesn’t consume more than the deceiving 240 calories listed on the package.
[note on 3/15 -- I'm sending a package to Laura too -- cause I read my comments wrong -- please tell me I'm not the only one who gets confused with these!]

Anway — you guys are so much fun. Thanks for reading and guessing!

Speaking of fun, I got to meet Tami P in the scrapbook store last Saturday and guess what she had in her hand? Her supply list for the All Boxed Up workshop. I don’t know if she staged this meeting or not, either way it made me giddy. We [partners and me] are thrilled that so many of you are taking classes and completing projects –

Thanks for your support.
Tami has a great idea btw, she is sending her family information sheets to her grandparents, so they fill in the information with their handwriting — gives me shivers!

BIG cookies
BIG ideas

This really is so BIG!

p.s. in case you haven’t heard — BIG, BIG News from Heidi and Bazzill. I’ll be there, how about you?

  1. So cool that the cookies are on their way to some ladies. My local co-op carries them, so I am not cookie-less.
Alas, I am the oldest in my family now, so no parents or grandparents to get information from. But we found a huge pile of my grandfather’s old journals (he died when my dad was 10, so I obviously never knew him). The difference between what he wrote and the ‘family stories’ about him are amazing. THAT would make a great book – the man and the myth.
Big, I’m telling you, very big.

  2. Happy things! Can’t wait to get to work on my All Boxed Up project – so cool….You and Paula are doing such a great job!

  3. Iam going to Creative Escapes…see you there!!!!
    Kim Bolyard

  4. I wish I could go to that Heidi/baz event but I can’t complain…I’ll be hangin’ with Heidi, and Elsie F. next month in BAMA at the scrapetc. event….YIPPEEE! I’m so psyched.

  5. Darlalou says:

I am SO happy to see EVA FLAKE involved in this retreat…I have sure missed ‘seeing’ her on the sb roads this past yr or so! SHE is so talented and amazing, I had the pleasure of working with her at CKU Provo 2 yrs ago and she is just insanely silly, fun and loving! GO EVA!!
    :O) Darla

  6. Well gee if you are going to be in Arizona with Heidi maybe I want to go there instead of CKU Boston in August!

  7. Dominique says:

I’m so happy! I just got your mail, with the cookie in it! :) Thanks Stacy! Can’t wait to taste it…

  8. OH Man, as my son would say. I SO want to go to this Heidi thing. I am doing CKU Chicago in a week, so I am not sure how my husband would feel when I pop this one on him. I SO need a job to make money to go to this. whine whine whine. It just sounds way cool. and with three little ones at home I could totally use the getaway!
