Thank You!

Wow. What an outpouring of love and support. I can’t thank you enough for your expressions of kindness. I am feeling really bad about hosting a public pity party and have hopefully learned that posting right after a meltdown is not a wise thing to do.

I am home.
I made it to Paper Pals on Saturday [very fun]

I had a wonderful Mother’s Day.
I hope you did too.
Here’s to the promise of a new week and a productive Monday!

Posting lots of photos soon.

  1. welcome back! i lurk your blog everyday and missed you ; )

So glad you are back home..I love reading your blog and I missed you…
Here to a better week this week.

  4. Kelly M says:

I just wanted to say THANKS for all you do – You inspire me.

  5. I would think that a blog might just be the BEST place to have a pity party sometimes!! Then you find out how much others LOVE you and what you do!!! PLUS it helps a person to unload then frustrations aren’t taken out on family ;o)

  6. Welcome back. I read your blog and the post about being nice really got me. It only takes one nice thing to spread and make others happy too. I agree with you on all of that.

  7. Thanks again for the great time on Saturday. We had a blast.
Glad to see you are home. You are entitled to a pity party every now and then. Everyone else will just have to deal with that.
Off to create some nice simple, imperfect pages. No measuring for me today!!!

  8. Well, Stacy… so sorry ’bout the hassles, but you’re home safe and sound! And, I have to say: Your attitude is so right on, lady! Just the best! And, man, you spoke my mantra, truly you did… yes, it is nice to be important, but it’s way more important to be nice! Have a SUPER week!

  9. Stacy, Paula, and all ya’ll gals at BPS and SS -
    You rock.
    Stacy -
Being in your “UR 2 Cre8tive” class in January CHANGED MY LIFE. It continues to, everyday.
Don’t let the sour apples spoil what you are doing for people like me.
    Thanks, for ALL you do.

  10. welcome home…. :-) Lisa

  11. Mom2Nick says:

Glad to hear that you are doing better that that you enjoyed your Mother’s Day.
Do you know when the synopsis for your class will be posted?

  12. Happy Mother’s Day to you! I hope those boys of you hugged you and loved you all day long!

  13. Go Cougs – hope you had fun in Pullman! I love reading about hometown stuff on your Blog. I grew up in Spangle, WA but now live in New York. Keep up the good work, I love BPS!

  14. I just read the last two posts and I am sorry that you received comments like that. I LOVE BPS and what you and all the talented people involved are doing. I’m happy you are feeling better and hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day with all your beautiful boys!
Looking forward to the “Library” class…I for one REALLY need it. And I think for what you have put in to it and what I am going to get out of it – the price is a steal!

  15. Glad you made it home, Stacy! Have a great week!

  16. Stacey,
You seem like such a NICE person! You do so much for others, inspiring others in scrapbooking and in life, too. Keep it up ! I appreciate you! :-)

  17. we had a similar situation at our lss the other week – except an upset (for her own reasons) customer decided to post on the public board. in the end it was good for the owners to know how much they and their store is appreciated. kinda the same situation – everyone needs to know they are appreciated and that the sacrifies they make of themselves and their families are worthwhile.
hugs – loving my donna downey classes – but who wouldn’t?

  18. Thank you again for all of the inspiration and ideas you give the rest of us. I had already signed up for Donna’s June class, but after reading your “long blog” I signed up for Gretchen’s class too just because I love the BPS concept, and I want it to be a success. It makes me happy! Thank you again for all you do!

  19. Stacy….We had such a GREAT time with you at Paper Pals in Pullman on Saturday…thank you, so much for coming!!! You had every right to cancel–my goodness what a day you had on Friday–but, being the “class act” you are, you honored your committment and came to “inspire” us at Paper Pals!! I LOVE BPS…took a class from Beth and it was wonderful!!
Again, it was wonderful to meet you and we hope you will come back to Paper Pals and Pullman again some time!!

  20. You know, Stacy you don’t need to appologize for posting how you feel. We all need to let our hair down now and then. I read your blog for the inspriation and I certainly got a dose of it by reading how you dealt with the negative comments and then how you turned it all around at the end and reminded us how important it is to be nice. Glad you had a good day with your kids. That’s the most important thing. Thanks for all you do to inspire creativity and a postitive attitude. You Rock. My teens hate when I say that. Apparently I’ve passed my coolness expiration date.

  21. That is what we are here for….the good times and the bad. And we help each other get through them.
    Jeanette :)

such a first class lady. you are an inspiration to me. seriously, i just love what you have given us with big picture scrapbooking, it has changed the way i look at my memories and the scrapbooks i am creating. thank you for all the work you have put into this, it makes a differnce.

  23. Glad you are home safely. No need to apologize. Keep doing what you are doing. If you, Donna and other working at SS and BPS do nothing else but relieving the guilt thing about keeping up, you will have accomplished a great deal.
Amazes me how many “in the know” have brainwashed women into believing that if they don’t have a caught up chrono scrapbook that the generations to come will suffer irreparable damage.
As John Stossel would say, give me a break.
    You go!

  24. Don’t you DARE apologize for being real – just don’t do it! You are totally awesome and even awesome people deserve a melt down once in a while.
Just keep being who you are and what you do and the rest will all fall into place.
