… is short and sweet, but entirely profound. It comes from Wendy and Aby’s new book, The Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker.
Storage and organization are not the same thing.
think about that.then go get the book.
trust me on this.
shhh! that was supposed to be a secret! don’t tell wal-mart and target!
Love it. So true!! And I need to do some serious organizing in my storage area! Also… we really need to talk about digital photo organization because I know you use iPhoto. I’m torn lately on what program to use going forward. I have most of my stuff tagged in Adobe Bridge but now I have a Mac (well I’ve had it for a year and haven’t organized my photos other than have them by month/year). Next time we catch up I’ll have some questions for you. Have a SUPER day. So glad to see you back and bloggin’! -L
how true is that!! love the quote!
So glad you are back Stacy. I love the inspirational quotes, especially the one for the toy room. I am wondering how you are doing with Addie? We just celebrated our one year gotcha day anniversary of our little Maya and looking back at the year I realized how hard it was at points! The whole year seemed like a series of small baby steps forward followed by huge steps backwards. I hope you are doing okay and that she is transitioning into your sweet family well. She is such a cute little thing.
LOL – So true it is. I store a ton of stuff in my scrap area, it is by no means organized. Working on it, a little each day.
This make me laugh thanks!
Looking forward to MT!
Stacy: I would love to get the book. It says that it is coming out in August, but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere.
Got an email today that my pre-order is going out – I need this book now!
I can’t wait to get this book…and great quote to think about!
I just got an email…I think it’s coming soon. YAY
I TOTALLY get that! I really want their book. )
AHA! That’s my reaction to that quote. I heard it the first time on the video of Wendy and Aby on the SS website and it immediately changed my thinking about my space. I can’t wait to get my hands on the book so I can put some real organization into my life.
