and i’ve tried to make a list of all the little things that I’m thankful for, but it’s not happening. I feel overwhelmed today with ALL of it. I’m so, so, so thankful to be alive. sounds dumb, but it’s true. I’m home with my children. my parents are here and I am just feeling very content — and happy to be here now, soaking it ALL in.

please do the same today — soak it in, whatever it is. It might not be perfect, but then who wants perfect. let go of anything that isn’t positive today. today, focus on all that is right and good in your world.

and btw, I’m thankful for you.

  9. Welcome Home Stacy and Happy Thanksgiving! I’m just thankful that I got thru today cooking my 1st EVER dinner for just my husband and I…and the 1st time I was away from family my WHOLE life. (We moved away to another state for his work)..I’m a pretty decent cook but for some reason it was intimidating..is that weird?? LOL Anyways, I have alot to be thankful for, but this was the highlight of the day…oh, and putting up the Xmas tree too! :) Hope your dinner was yummy!! :)

  11. Stacy – I hope you are feeling peaceful and relaxed today! I hate that overwhelming feeling and I have experienced that a lot lately so I know exactly what you mean. Can’t wait till your new book comes out! Is there any chance it will ship in time to show up wrapped under the Christmas tree?

I am so thankful that I got to meet you in Edmonton in April and that you inspired me to love my art, the process and those who create memories with me.
