For the scrapbookers young and old, new and seasoned …
Lain's BRAND NEW, super-hilarious, stocking-stuffer sized book of scrapbooking Snippets.
It's easy to take yourself too seriously in this hobby. On days when you are feeling out of sorts and ideas, a copy of Lain's book will be an easy dose of laughter and lighthearted insight that is sure to put you in a positive perspective.
I've already blogged about this NEW special issue from Simple Scrapbooks, but NOW I have THREE copies to give away! Leave me a comment before tomorrow's post goes up and you'll be entered in a random drawing.
This special is worth another mention because I have two, time-tested personal strategies for NOT getting bogged down in my scrapbooking routine. One of these is photo album scrapbooking and the details are inside this magazine. Consider this a $7.00 investment in your sanity. In fact, you could get both Lain's humor and Stacy's secret to productivity for under twenty bucks. WOW!
And now, a few additional stocking stuffers that I LOVE. When I was in Montana a month or so ago, I was given an adorable bracelet. I later learned that it is the product of two very cool ideas from Creative Imaginations.
The bracelet features 8 connected disks to decorate with the epoxy
stickers. You'll need 16 stickers. The good news is they are only $1.00
I searched and search for a good online source for these and finally found Danelle Johnson's "Just Need It" store (see the links above) If you have any questions about purchases, you can email Danelle here.
I have a short list of MOST FAVORITE scrapbooking tools and Doodlebug's LIMEADE craft knife is at the very top. It's CUTE and easy to hold (soft rubber coating) and will NOT roll away and get lost on my work table. If you don't have one — you NEED one.
Next up (on my short list) in the Close To My Heart distressing kit. I obviously like attractive tools, but I also appreciate and require the idea of form + function which can be found here. If you have the Summer 2008 catalog, see page 99 … or just call or email your consultant. Need a CTMH consultant? click here.
