I “rish” I were Irish.

I am headed out the door with my computer to take it to the computer man, so he can hopefully diagnose what is causing my frustration (very intermitant Internet connections)

I need a little Irish Luck today!

The leprechauns came during the night last night however and left lots of "KISSES" on my children …

IMG_6645and, there was GREEN milk in the fridge — pesky little leprechauns!

I'll be back as soon as I can.
I am working on some "vlogs" of my color-first approach to organizing scrapbook product. So, if you've asked, please know it's coming very soon!

HEY –  one more thing.

I just got the final schedule for an event I'm attending in St. Louis, MO April 23-25th. This is one COOL event. If you're close … try and come. I'd love to see you there. Here's the link.

  1. Oh my goodness! Stacy! I was just dreaming last night that I need to organize my entire scrapbook room by color. From paper to embellishments to alphas (those are the hardest for me to organize). I have been thinking about it all day today and even went to the container store site to see what I could come up with. So now I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

  2. Great minds and all that…
My 25 y.o. daughter was remembering over the weekend how I would make their milk green for St. Patrick’s Day…Now how to scrap……

  3. didnt think of green milk. We had green eggs…

  4. Wow Stacy!! We do exactly the same thing!! Leprechaun kisses and green milk. I left Lucky charms on the table for breakfast too!! I wish I could show you a picture of my girls! Maryann

  5. Rhonda Hestir says:

Stacy, I am hesitant about the color organization thing…. but I know one thing, my current “organization” is not really doing it for me. SOOOO….as with LOM, I will read, ingest, and trust. Can’t wait to hear MORE. ( I really miss your Color Play article in SS. I have all of them filed. I truly used the color combos shown, and loved the “%” examples, too)
ps- just got Scrapbook Play with Photos…great special.

  6. Barbara B says:

Can’t wait to see you in St. Louis. Barbara, LOM2009

  7. Jeannette P says:

    Yay for the Irish luck!
I found some tatoo stickers for my kiddos to wear but 2 are still sick so home on the couch. We all have green on though! And I AM Irish…at least a little. I even took a few pics of myself with all my green & put one on my blog & my facebook. I LOVE green. It makes me so HAPPY!!! Just a little sad & missing my gpa today. He’s where I get the Irish from & he’s enjoying Heaven now. He used to answer the phone with “Top o’ the mornin’ to you!” when anyone would call. sniff sniff. So I made green milk, tattoo my kiddos & put them in green & blogged about my gpa & why I love green & my dream of visiting Ireland & kissing the Blarney stone.
Hope your computer trouble is trouble no more.

  8. I’m going to make green waffles and milk for supper. I’m wearing my shamrock socks. And the girls are dressed in green. Sometimes I make stew and have my inlaws over since my MIL is Irish.
I’m doing some of my organization by color. In GOBI right now.
Are you coming to Alberta this year? Edmonton? Calgary?
    Love Addie’s LMM pj’s :)

  9. Love the “kisses”! The leprechaun came to our house too!! He left his treasure in a box that we decorated and he hid it to boot! But he was nice enough to give Grace a beautiful musical snow globe ( with a shamrock inside ) as a Half Birthday gift in case she didn’t find the box. ( she found it though)
We’re having Salmon with pesto, green mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts for her half b-day celebration and i’m surprising her with a “checker board” green 1/2 of cake. ( She’s turning 7 1/2 today.)
can’t wait for your color organizing update!!!

  10. Can’t wait for the vblog entries about color! :-)

  11. Kathleen Loughran says:

Yea! I heard a rumor that you migh come. So awesome to hear that you are a sure thing. It will be a great time. Loved the event last year. This year sounds even better!

  12. I have my embellishments in color group boxes and I love it! Wish I had done it a long time ago.
So cool you’re coming to St. Louis! I’m going to try to make it!

  13. Thanks to you I organized my embellies by color a year or two ago. I love it, but I still want to see how you organize/use your products.
A big thank you for the coupon for littlemissmatched. I ordered colorful soccer socks, flip flops and new bedding for my daughter’s 14th birthday :)

  14. I do want to know more about organizing by color. I need to see pictures of how you store things this way. I am in desperate need of ways to use what I have better. Can’t wait to see it all!

  15. BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m going to be in St Louis for Easter, but not for the Scrap St Louis event!!! dang!! I live in northern MN and it’s just too far to drive back the next week. I missed your event in Brainerd, MN this year, too. I just can’t seem to win!!! I’ll keep trying, though…..hehe

  16. Good thinkin’! I hadn’t thought of milk! This is the first year I’ve done something to celebrate the green, and all I could think of was pancakes or mashed potatoes, either of which is a hefty cooking project in a morning (around here, at least). My 9 yr old came up with pudding, and *that* I can do! So we had green pudding….green milk will be here next year, though. Even easier!

  17. tchrtiff says:

Oh my, I LOVE the idea of leprechaun kisses! I’ve never heard of it. We had green pudding and filled out shamrocks that said, “I’m lucky to have you in my life because…” and shared them. So fun!

  18. Nancy C. from Wilmington, NC says:

I bet the problem isn’t in your computer, it’s probably something wonky with your ISP. I know this is silly, but I hope you’ll let us know, because it will drive me crazy until I know. I can’t tell you how many times Time Warner has been out here and put new cables, boosters (whatever they are) on the line, and other things I’ve forgotten when my internet acts up. It’s never been my trusty old Mac.

  19. Ann Werner says:

We can’t wait to have you come to St Louis!! Only 36 days…just a tiny bit excited about the time off to learn new things from you…My DD & best friend have been signed up since fall.
I just challenged them to do the mini scrapbook with me.
For Keep Sake is our favorite place to spend a Saturday–you coming to their Scrap weekend is icing on the cake for all of us.
Ann-A big fan since you were a speaker at CTMH in UT
