in my life.
This dad taught me how to work hard and have fun.
He taught me that you can laugh at almost anything and that you ought to laugh at yourself often.
I taught a Relief Society lesson in church today. The topic was forgiveness and on multiple occasions, as I prepared this week, my heart and mind revisited this man's example.
He taught me that there are two sides to every issue in life and that everyone deserves compassion.
It used to bug me that I'd come to him with a grievance and he'd ask about the "other person." I have now come to love this trait in him. He is slow to judge and eager to understand.
He is a man of integrity and I am so grateful he married that cute girl and they became my parents.
Love you Dad.
It's an amazing thing to share life with an imperfect person that is perfect for you. I marvel at all the ways Geoff is the right man for me. I marvel at the way he puts up with my imperfections and helps me improve and grow. Most of all, I marvel at the children we've been blessed with and the way each of them love him. He is such a good daddy and dad. He is so easy to be with and so easy to love.
Happy Father's Day … to you and yours.
