really GREAT pattern paper.

In fact, these five two-sided patterns could very well be the BEST paper I've ever encountered for my Finish Line class. I'm teaching in September at CKU Japan and I'm very excited to be using papers from Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird line. In this class I teach a creative process that results in a 20 page 6×6 album featuring 20-45 photos. I help students move past ALL kinds of self-imposed hurdles and unhealthy expectations to a place where they can trust their memories and really GREAT paper to produce a beautiful, coordinated (FINISHED) scrapbook.

PLEASE NOTE that I'm working on a way to teach this class online. If I was you, I'd get my hands on these papers. Hey — I'm always good for advice in how to spend your money!

p.s. Thanks Cosmo!

Comments

  1. Love these papers — Cosmo has so many great designs.

  2. I just bought a BUNCH of this line, with the intention of turning my great-Grandma Ida’s falling apart cookbook into something usable for my sisters for Christmas this year. I do hope they aren’t reading comments here ; )

  3. This sounds like the class I took from you in Calgary a few years ago. I loved it and got a lot of photos done. The papers are wonderful as well. Good luck making the class online ready. I would be interested.

  4. I just bought the first paper in your line-up for my December Daily album, I thought the red and white polka dots would be fun. Looks like I’ll need to make another 45-minute ride to Knoxville to get the rest of the line, too! Oh, Stacy, what are we going to do with you…but wait expectantly for the class. Yay!

  5. great minds think alike? I was just working with these papers yesterday. Working on some random stuff and Jenni Bowlin BPS class stuff.
    Yum!

  6. I HEAR you SISTA! Off to the LSS tomorrow. Hopefully they have them in already. I would LOVE to take your class. I had already inquired about the leaf-patterned one in the line when I saw a project online by another scrapper. So I already had my eye on them.
I sure miss LOM!!! Want to take Cathy Z’s and Ali E’s classes this fall, but fall is so busy. I’ll have to assess.

  7. Oh, DUH. I came over here to see if you would remind me of the brand name of the APPLE GREEN ADHESIVE GUN you so highly recommended for strips of ribbon. I am making my Christmas list early this year!
    Thanks!

  8. I agree…Early Bird is just a great collection…I love these papers!

I have these papers and will save them for your finish-line class….hopefully it won’t be TOO long before I can take it! :)

I love these papers too, I think I’ll grab them and then make another finish line scrapbook. I took your class at CKC in Seattle and am very proud of my 6×6 Hawaii album. I did laugh because when I showed it to my husband he first said that I didn’t use all the photos we took but when I asked which ones were missing he couldn’t tell me. LOL Have fun teaching in Japan.

  11. I’ve looked everywhere and am having a hard time finding it!! LOVE it soooo much!! Is Cosmo selling from their online store?

  12. Inspired1 says:

I couldn’t agree more with you. Love these papers!! I think they are perfection. I took your Finish Line class at the Scrapbowl in 2008 and would highly recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity to take a class with you.

  13. I would love to take that class with you and since I live in Hawaii – the land of NO CKC’s – I would be in heaven if you taught the class online!
Thanks for working on the class (in your spare time lol)
P.S. Those papers are cheerful and fun. Off to hunt them down.

  14. I would really be interested in this class online. And the papers are so pretty. I love how fun and refreshing your ideas are. Thanks so much for sharing with us all. :-)

  15. love the papers and just love your design..6 x 6 makes sense $$ wise and I would love to take an on-line class with you!!

  16. Love the whole line! Great prices too! Too bad shipping up to Canada is so expensive. Can’t justify it. :(

  17. LOVE THIS PAPER!
    (Sorry about the blog yelling!)
I have to run out this weekend and try to find it!!!

  18. Love, love, love this line. My absolute favorite!!

  19. Such cute papers! Do you need an assistant in Japan? (i wish)

  20. Can we order straight from Cosmo Cricket?

  21. that sounds like the article you had in a simple scrapbook mag – I just did the same thing with my daughter’s first birthday party!! AMAZING idea, and now I have several occasions that I am planning to do – my husbands trip to Germany, his RCIA initiation, Disneyland album. I host crops every other week for 4 hours its the perfect way to crank out a meanful and super cute album that I can start and finish at the crop!!

  22. Carmel Keane says:

    Gorgeous Papers!

  23. I love the paper and now I’m interested in the finish-line class…but how many pieces of paper would I need for the album???

  24. I bought the crafting kit of this line at Archiver’s a week or so ago because it is so dang cute. Now I’ll save it to use for your on-line class. Yipee!

  25. CKU in Japan? WOW. Can you give us some details? I did a bit of googling – can’t see anything…
    Any spaces available? Dates?
    Thanks, Stacy.
