Library of Memories 2010 is OPEN …

Click on the word “registration” and a new window will open with all of the details. I am totally and completely excited about this session for 5 reasons:

1. This is the 5th year I am teaching this course — FIVE YEARS!

2. I have refreshed and reorganized the content of Library of Memories (LOM for short) and am recommending new tools and processes that make things easier and more efficient as we all navigate our way through the digital revolution. In other words, with the help of Kayla Lamoreaux, Library of Memories now fully embraces both traditional and digital scrapbookers (as well as all of us somewhere in the middle.)

3. We are adding a new feature to the LOM classroom that will enable me to adjust my teaching to the needs of the current group of students — that’s all I’m saying for now, but trust me, it’s cool!

4. I love preparing to teach this class. I am having a great deal of FUN with my personal system right now and that is such a great and energizing feeling.

5. I absolutley love meeting a new round of students each year and I love becoming reacquainted with friends from past sessions.

If you have questions as you read through the class description (be sure to read both pages and listen to my audio) and review the supply list and syllabus, leave me a comment or email me and put LOM QUESTION in the subject line. I will address all of your questions here, on my blog.

The MOST IMPORTANT thing you need to know is that the LOM pre-classroom is full of information. As I have reviewed the content and surveys from past years I have decided to give people the opportunity of taking full advantage of the registration period to get started on assignments that used to be part of the first lesson. If you are planning to join me in this session of Library of Memories, sign up AS SOON AS YOU CAN, because there is much to get started on.

I am fully aware that Christmas is on Friday, but … I’m also aware that the days between Christmas and New Years and into the early part of January are often perfect for starting new projects.

I want to thank you for your comments and emails following my last post. I am still sick, but we had a wonderful weekend and while I am still so sad inside I am also at peace with the situation. My kids are all home (except Clark who is snowboarding) and I love it. We’ve got our neighborhood cookie party tonight. I’m working for a couple of hours today and then headed upstairs to make cookies.

Life is good.

  1. Hi Stacy,

Just wanted to wish you the Merriest of Christmases! You are the best :)

  2. Stacy,

This is the year! I have wanted to take this class for the last 4 years but something always seemed to get in the way. Not this year! Merry Christmas to me!

  3. I was just wondering when registration would open for this class—I hope there’s not class limit–I gotta wait to see what $$$ I get for Christmas:-)!

  4. Merry Christmas Stacy and a wonderful New Year. I hope everyone has fun with LOM. I’m still using everything I learned 3 years ago.

  5. I’m so looking forward to returning as an alumni and can’t wait to see how you continue to incorporate us digital folks into this whole process :) Have a wonderful Christmas and I will see you in the new year!!

Hi Stacy – I signed up this weekend and am so, so excited. I’ve been looking forward to the class since meeting you at Scrap it Up in South Dakota last spring. I plan to get started on the preclassroom activities right after Christmas!

  7. Hi Stacy. I have been waiting for LOM to start ever since I discovered BPS this past spring. I am super excited to implement your system fully. I devoured the book and have the basics set-up but can’t wait to learn more from the LOM lady herself. Merry Christmas!
p.s. Thanks for your lovely comments on my photos in the BPS galleries! I was honored that you took the time to leave them.

I also signed up for LOM after a couple years of hemming and hawing. I took the plunge and am excited to get to it! I have taken many BPS classes and have loved them all. I’m sure this one will be the icing on the cake.

    Merry Christmas!!

I can’t wait!!!! This will be my second time and I am looking so forward to it. I would say I have the structure done now I need to get in there and get the “filler” in. Last year, this class was so informative, fun and very useful. I LOVE the new direction my scrapbooking has taken. I was so pre-occupied with being caught up that I wasn’t have any fun and I was so stressed!!! I was stalled and not really doing that much. Now if I want to scrapbook something, I do and I don’t worry about where that page should go.

  11. just saw your post on fb and registered right away-
I’m one of those “in the middle” when it comes to the digital aspect so I’m looking forward to seeing how that gets incorporated (as well as the new tools)
    I’m sooooooooo excited!

  12. Stacy, How do I love thee? Let me count the ways! I’m coming back – I was in the original group! Thanks for everything you do – I love the way you make me think about my photos. I can’t wait for the digital tips. I have a kajillion.

  13. Merry Christmas, Stacy! I am so excited to see this! I got started last year on LOM but fell “by the wayside” for the most wonderful of reasons…the adoption of my beautiful baby son from China. NOW I have more reasons than ever to get back with it. I don’t see information on auditing the class this go-around…I was thinking that I could do that. I’ll keep looking…if it’s not there, could you post that? I thought that was something we could do.

Looking forward to this…with three children, I’m busier than ever, but NOT scrapbooking is NOT an option! Thanks for all the inspiration!!! I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas with your family!

  14. Just a question about alums. How do I register for the class? I loved it the first go round last year! Thanks for making it available again.

  15. whoo hoo! just signed up for your class. I took your finishline scrapbooking and photo freedom classes at CKC Seattle in 2008 and loved both. I am soooo looking forward to LOM. Thanks so much for doing this and also for all you make avl to us in BPS :)

  16. Hello, another ? about alums… where do we sign up? I can’t wait!!

  17. Yip Yipp!! I am tickled to get back to the weekly motivation. How do the alums join in ? I have so many (CTMH) customers I have been telling about the course too. I cannot wait to tell them to help them get a good organization and start to scrap again!

  18. Andrea Merrill says:

Hi Stacy! We got your Christmas letter and I immediately went to your website to browse. It looks like you are as busy as ever and involved in everything, as usual. I would love to catch up and find out more about how you are doing. Send me a quick email so that I have your address and don’t have to post here. I couldn’t find your email address on your website. Your daughter is so adorable! That’s the first I heard of her or saw her picture. What a special gift! Anyway, hope to hear from you if you have a minute. And I hope you had a wonderful Christmas too.
