    Hi Stacy,

I actually own several of these 2 minute albums, purchased several years ago from Simple and stored for ‘when I have some time’. Well I do have a tribute to do, my dad died nearly ten years ago and my two littlest boys never got to meet him. They see the picture I have of him in the family room but don’t really understand who Papa was. I have a shoe box of pictures and a timer. I think I’m ready to do this project in this very simple format now, and when I’m ready I can do a more elabrate tribute album. I should do a Grandson album for my oldest boy with memories of the two of them together, they were so close.

Thanks for reminding me of these little gems!

      Dear Stacy,
Although there are a couple of people that passed away and would be wonderful to do a tribute to them, for this project I would choose my dear husband who gives us every once of his soul every singel day! He has made my dream come true to be a stay at home mom and raise our 4 beautiful angels and works so hard to make sure none of us go without! I want to create this project for him with the kids and give it to him for father’s day so that he knows that we all truly appreciate all that he does for us and to tell him how much we love him and to thank him for being him!
      Thank you so much!
      Irene

  2. I’d scrap about my mom. She died when my daughter was 2 and being a mom now myself there is alot I’d like to share with her. A tribute album would be the way to get my thoughts on paper for her grand daughter to see.

My father in law will likely pass away in the next 48 hours after a very long battle with cancer. I would like to pay tribute to him but also to my own dad who is very much alive and who I appreciate so much.

  4. Stacy,
I LOVE this idea! I LOVE it so much that #1 I would like to do one for my Grandmother……..She was my spiritual director in my life and passed away 2 years ago……WOW!! Tears are flowing now….it really seems like it was only a few weeks ago……I’ve made a few scrapbook pages…….one called, “Praying my Goodbyes…..when I gave her a prayer shawl and recorded her telling me stories about her and Grandpa meeting, falling in love, marrying…..so many many memories……..
#2……I’d like to do one for my brother Eddie who died 10 years ago of a brain aneurysm……He was only 28 years old and playing softball and collided with another player. My only daughter, Colleen was born 9 months later on Eddie’s birthday, March 3. I still miss him everyday.
Love to record a few sweet memories………thank you! Maureen Van Dusky

  5. I would do a tribute album about my “Grampie.” I think of him as the last “real cowboy.” Lived on our 90 acre family farm in SD, wore bolero ties when he “dressed up.” Had a very sweet demeanor and smile. I’ll always remember him calling in the cattle, “hey bossey, bossey…” Shed one small tear at Easter one year when I gave him a stuffed bunny. (I didn’t know until that moment that he’d never had his own stuffed toy of any sort.) I enjoy sharing memories of him with my Grammie when we go visit. I tell my three kiddos about him often. Have 3 of his ties…have “plans” to put them in a shadow box. I will do that today! Thanks for the incentive.

  6. I would love to make a little album for my daughter who is expecting triplets. I want to make a little album of her three year old daughter to get her through the impending hospital stay with the babies. She will miss her so much and I think it would help her get through those lonely moments and focus on the babies.
