Yikes! I must be in forget mode lately.
So sorry I didn’t get this posted sooner.

How about I give you extra time? You have until Wednesday, April 28th at noon (pacific time) to make yourself eligible for FREE Core’dinations cardstock. All you have to do is respond to my challenge below and post your creation in our I Love Color Flickr gallery.

Just like I crave soups and homemade bread in the fall, I begin craving a lighter fare this time of year. I was struck by the vibrant color in this spring salad. Fresh tomatoes mixed with edamame, kidney beans and bulgar create a delightfully fresh and flavorful combination for your palette and your pictures!

Challenge: Search out a sheet of pattern paper that combines at least 3 of these colors and introduce the fourth with some other product or embellishment.

Even Better: use the word “delicious” somewhere in your journaling!

  1. Okay – I love the color combination and the idea of using it for a layout, but the salad also looks delish! I’m always looking for new ways to make salads in the warm seasons (that’s 3 here in Central Tx!). Gonna file away that idea, too — thanks for sharing!

It’s funny how different people associate colors in a different way…Stacy saw these colors as a SPRING combo where as I see them as a FALL/WINTER combo. Interesting.

  3. The photo is just mouth watering to look at and the colors are so rich and juicy. Love it.

  4. Christine H says:

    Wow, I need this recipe!

  5. That salad looks great! I think this color combination could be a spring or fall combo, depending on the amount of brown/green you use.

I’m just finding these challenges. Love the great color combinations. I can’t wait to get started on this one!
