Sprinkle No. 27

When was the last time you ate bugs on a log?

Apparently, I’m on a bit of a food kick, but … your *sprinkle* this week is to make up a plate of celery, peanut butter and raisins and serve them on a colorful plate.

Whilst you immerse yourself in this unique combination of crunchy, creamy and chewy, remember that creativity at it’s core is the ability to fully engage with the present moment. It’s almost impossible to eat bugs-on-a-log and not be fully present. So, whilst you eat, I think you should eagerly share memories this snack triggers for you. If you are snacking alone, then pull out your journal and write away.

My memory–swimming by our backyard pool. This is one of those snacks mom would make up and watch disappear on a balmy summer afternoon.

  2. Bwahaha! I was eating my bugs-on-a-log when I decided to take a minute to see what the latest Sprinkle is! Right before my eyes pops “Sprinkle No. 27″ How fun is that?

  3. Not too keen on the bug part, but love the logs. Did you know that celery naturaly lowers your blood pressure? I eat it everyday. Love all your blogs, Stacy. Keep up the good (work) fun.
