Color Inc. Giveaway

Oh … had such a glorious weekend with my “girls” and celebrated Taft’s birthday yesterday (more details to follow.) I *think* I’m recovering well (?) Haven’t opened my email yet, so that may be tricky–will need to finish up a few things that I owe people before then.

Anyway, I’m VERY EXCITED about this week’s giveaway from my sponsor Color Inc.

Color Inc.
(short for Color Incorporated Digital  Pro Lab) is a professional photography lab that continues to embrace the scrapbooking community — which I think is really cool. There are so many scrapbookers that have developed AMAZING photography skills–they should absolutely be celebrated and given access to the same high quality services that professionals enjoy.
And that my lovely readers is where Color Inc. comes in …

Jared, the very generous marketing director at Color Inc. is giving away 3 spiral bound albums to 3 different readers.
Winners get to pick the size of their album (albums come in 6 different sizes, from wallet size to 8 x 10.)

If you want to read more about the spiral albums, click here as Jared recently blogged about them.

In short, spiral bound photo books are …

1. Super versatile (you can feature anything on the spectrum between plain photos to fully designed digital scrapbook pages)
2. Super classic (books are a combination of fujifilm pro prints and a black spiral binding)
3. Super easy to create (you’ll order using ROES and go to “Sizes”, then “Spiral Bound Photo Books”, then upload your images)

Need to showcase senior pictures? Done.
Need a beautiful and personal Mother’s Day brag book? Done.
Need to show off wedding photos in a simple, timeless way? Done.

You could even create your own photography or scrapbook portfolio of work in one of these gorgeous books!

Have  I sold you yet?
Here’s what you need to do.
Visit the Color Inc. website and tell me which size you would select and which photos you would showcase. I will be creating a 5×7 book with the pictures I took in Tracy Clark’s Picture Spring workshop. In fact, I’d like to finish out the year (Picture Summer, Fall and Winter) and make a full set of my seasonal photos. I’m almost giddy with the idea.

What kind of photo book would you make?
Leave me your answer to be eligible for one of 3 books. Comments will close next Monday at noon.

Note: I love ALL of my sponsors!

  1. Adorable! I love the size of the small green book with the little girl…what is that? 4 X 5? I would make one of my sweeties from summers past…summer memories! Thanks for the chance, Stacy! :-)
    Amy in CA

  2. Oh how adorable! I would do a 5×7 album of my photos of the week for this year. (rather than do a photo a day, I’m doing a photo a week) I really want to get them into an album and not let them grow up to be pixels! :)

  3. Nancy L says:

I love the size selections. I would choose the 8×10. I am expecting to have all the pictures for my daughter’s wedding gathered together by next week and can’t wait to put together an album.

  4. Ronnie Crowley says:

I would make a book for my Dad who suffered from a major stroke 3 years ago and has very limited speech and can do very little for himself. I would fill it with pictures of the family for him to enjoy and he wouldn’t have to worry about dropping the pictures as they’d all be bound in his own little book.

  5. I know exactly what I’d do! I’d take photos that highlighted my DD’s past year in 3′s preschool and make a 5×7 book. I take thousands of pictures, so sifting through them, I’m sure I could make a nice book that I’d cherish forever. :)

  6. I would do a little album of my nieces, whom I love more than life itself

  7. I love square photos so I’d have to choose the 5×5. I’d love to make a book of Recipes. I’ve been taking more food photos lately and it would be fun to my own cookbook!

  8. I would do a 5 x 7 book with pictures from Relay for Life. It’s a week-end non-stop walk to raise money for cancer research. It honors survivors and remembers those that have passed. I’ve got a friend that is a cancer survivor and the rest of us formed a team to support her! She was going through treatments and was unable to come so I’d like to make a book for her.

  9. Vickie says:

I would probably choose an 8X10 and make an album of my daughter’s wedding pictures. There are so many that scrapbooking them is an overwhelming idea.

  10. Karen F. says:

These would be perfect for me!
Just this weekend I returned home from China where my 14 year old daughter and I worked in an orphanage for special needs children for a week. We had the most amazing, life-changing, incredible week together!
Needless to say . . . I have pictures. Lots and lots and lots of pictures.
I think I’d do a 5×7, or maybe even an 8×10 of our most favorite, most special photos from the trip.

  11. BeckyR says:

I would chose the 8×10 for our recent trip to Disney World.

  12. {vicki} says:

I would go with a 5×7 and it would be photos of my son

  13. I would choose a 5X7. I have decided it is time to start a weight loss journal. I have lost 50 an want to keep inspired to lose the rest. I do not want ot be an unfinished story book. This would keep me on target to be a fairy tale!

  14. Liz Brown says:

These are really, really cute! I’d make one for my son who will be 5 this summer. His scrapbook has been severely neglected, and he is always asking me to look at it. SO sad! I need to get working!

  15. How wonderful. I think I would go with a 5 x 5 to highlight my brother in law who died suddenly last November. Thank you for this opportunity.:)

  16. Kimberly S. says:

I would make an 8×10 of our engagement pictures!

  17. I would love to make Mother’s Day books!

  18. i would love to do a 5×7 album of my upcoming reunion!

  19. I really like the idea of spiral binding. I’ve been working on a baby album for my son, creating photo collages and journaling about the major milestones and everyday facts each month since he was born. The final product will be a hybrid album, but I’ve been considering making digital versions for the grandparents. But this spiral binding makes me think I could make a baby-friendly copy for Tom, too!

  20. I want a BIG album full of all the women from 2009. The Girls nights out, parties, birthdays, trips and luncheons. So…8×10 would be perfect!

  21. I love Color Inc.!!! I am saving up for one of their canvas prints.
I would get the 5×7 album for my best friend. She has been in a bit of a funk since her divorce and I am working on a nice smaller album full of pictures of her having a wonderful time and being happy.

  22. Wendy Baker says:

I would do a 5×7 album of my son’s senior pictures. I would love to do that!
    Thanks!

  24. Sherry G says:

I am into square photos lately but not sure the 5×5 format is big enough for all I would want to add. I would probaby use last years’ vacation photos to the TN mountains as my book subject, or maybe this year’s upcoming trip and make it a gift for my mom.

I like your idea of using your Picture Spring photos to create an album (and using other seasons too). I took the class but got behind when Easter Break ended. I have another idea in mind to showcase those photos when I complete them.

  29. Sarah M. says:

  30. Cheri A. says:

I would do a 5×7 of all my “art” photography – which means Picture Spring, landscapes from various trips, etc. A lot of the stuff that just doesn’t seem to make it into scrapbook layouts.

  31. I would make an 8×10 or 5×7 first communion book for my niece. Her first communion was April 2009, so I’m a little behind. This would be the perfect way for me to catch up quickly and present her with a beautiful book of her own, especially since her gift from me was to make her a book.

  32. Stephanie says:

I would get an 8×10 album and put in all of my favorite pics that make me happy.

  39. Lisa Cooper says:

Hmm . . . I would use pictures of my daughter from various ballet classes and recitals (taken over a span of 12 years) and incorporate the words from the song “I Hope You Dance” and make a 5 x 7 book. T

These little books are amazing. to win. I love them. Thank you for the chance to win.

  48. I think I would like the 8 x 10 album…for either my new grandchild or my son’s wedding July/10

  49. Miss Mayberry says:

I’m all about squares, so probably 5X5. My younger child needs some new scrapbooking material to look through, so I’d like to just pick out a bunch of my favorite pics from his toddler years and put them together in one place. Thanks!

  50. If I won, I would choose the wallet-size album. I love mini-albums, and this would be perfect for keeping in my purse. I would fill it with pictures that make me happy!!

  71. Cynthia says:

  72. I would make an album of our son’s high school homeschool graduation ceremony. He graduated along with 34 other homeschoolers on May 1. He is our first child to graduate. A homeschool graduation celebrates the family instead of just the graduate. It simply is like no other event in your life to celebrate your life’s work along with your child’s accomplishments!

I would do an 8 x 10 of my wedding photos. The books look great – I may just have to order one of my own anyway :)

  89. What a generous give away! I would either get a 5×7 or 8×10. There are so many different ideas floating round and round in my head. I might do a book for my Mom of my brothers and me, our spouses, and all her grandkids and great grandkids. She would totally love that. Or I would do one with my favorite pictures from our trip to Germany a few years ago. I haven’t even begun to scrap it yet, I’m soooooo far behind. But that’s okay, I’ll get it all done sometime. No worries!

  90. I would use the 5 X 7 and highlight an album of my dogs. They are getting up in age ( 9 and 7) and have played second fiddle to the two kids for awhile. 110. Lynn M says:

I think I’d choose 5×5 for the book. Just like you I’ve got Picture Spring photos that would look great in that size. Thanks!

  111. I think I’d go with a 5×5 and I’d showcase some of the great pictures of my kids. People are always asking to see new pictures and since I don’t take them with my phone and my phone doesn’t have access to facebook I can’t show them off. I keep meaning to make a mini for my purse but I somehow keep forgetting as well.

  112. Karen Schmidt says:

Thanks for all the great ideas Stacy.

  113. A. Kobs says:

Oooh my! I think I would choose the 5×7, simply because I find 8×10 often too big. But maybe I would stretch my limits and go with the 8×10. As for what I would showcase — we are leaving to an overseas assignment this summer and have decided to leave behind our beloved dog. I’ve been snapping pictures of her like crazy and this would be a perfect reminder of her while we are away.

  114. Phyllis says:

I’d pick the 5×7 and fill it with 21 years of memories of my kids. Two will be seniors in college in September and the baby just turned 18 and will be starting college in the fall. Thanks!

  123. I would choose the 5×5 size and I would fill it with either pictures of summer activities that we do, or I would make a grandkids album for my parents.

  124. What cool albums! I would choose a 5×7 album, and fill it with “while you’re away” pictures of our daily life with 3 kids (ages 8,5,1) to share with my husband stationed in Afghanistan. Email and letters are great, and it’s easy to share the big events with him, but I am realizing how special the everyday little things are that he is missing. One of these spiral albums with some everyday moments captured would help fill that void!

  125. Sara K says:

I’d pick 5X7 and either put pictures of my new baby (due any day) inside or try to play “catch up” with some of my best photos I still haven’t scrapbooked. There are just too many options! :)

  126. I think I’d do a 5×5, not sure yet what I’d showcase. I need to dig a little deeper on the website first. It didn’t show me how it works without actually signing in to do it. I sure like how their pricing works, but the page. Very reasonable!

  127. Maribel says:

I like the 5×5 size because it’s different. I love the look of these albums.

  128. Kimberly Goon says:

I like the 5×5. I’ve been dying to make my 1 yr. old nephew a picture book of him with all my family and simple words of our names so he can “read” the book while looking at all the people who love him!

  129. Nicky from Canada says:

Oh so hard, but think I would do the 8 x 10 booklet, we have had our youngest boys service dog since the end of January and would like to show case that journey of the bonding that is occurring already and how very lucky we are!!!
    Thanks for the great giveaways

  130. I love that one with the bracket on the cover!! (The green one) I would make one either for my mom or for a friend that just had a baby boy – - it would be an album where each page would have a line from the song ‘I Am a Child of God’. So cute in this type of book I’ll bet!

  131. KarenP says:

I would choose the 8×10 size for an album that highlights my collection of old barn photos.

  133. Mamasue123 says:

Probably the 5×7 or 5 x 5. I would use it to document our puppies evolution into our lives. I never knew a dog could be so much fun ( or so much work!)

  134. I need to create a memory book about my niece’s sacrament of confirmation ceremony and celebration. This would be well accomplished and super cute in a 4×6 size with a custom back cover add rounded corners for free! Thanks, Stacy.

My husband’s children and I took him to the Indianapolis Speedway last September and surprised him with a 75th birthday present of driving an Indy 500 racecar and then riding in back of a car with an Indy 500 driver. My hubby is still on cloud 9 and I would make him a book of the photos from that day to enjoy while he waits for the awesome scrapbook that I will make someday! :)
