What doing mom?

What doing mom?
Taking a shower

What doing mom?
Drying my hair.

What doing mom?
Making breakfast.

What doing mom?
Putting on my shoes.

What doing mom?
Picking up stuff.

What doing mom?
Texting Erin.

What doing mom?
Giving YOU a great big HUG.

I’m so happy that I discovered scrapbooking 16 years ago. I’m even happier I still scrapbook today. I can scrapbook the things my children say, so I never forget that “What doing mom?” is Addie’s favorite question, right NOW.

Happy National Scrapbook Day.

I’m the guest designer this month at Crazy Daisy kit club.
Note: They have nothing from me yet (oops.)

But, I made this little 8×8 page for my Photos I Love (kids edition) album yesterday morning in about 10 minutes and it uses some of the papers and products from the kit. I will make more fun things to share with you next week and later in the month.

For today, let’s just be happy that we scrapbook.
It really is the coolest hobby on the planet.

  1. Love this layout and the one posted at Write.Click.Scrapbook today. One was made immediately and the other 6 years later! The beauty of LOM :)

  2. Monika Wright says:

And to think that just 3 short years ago, I did not even scrapbook. I’ve come a long way, and I am happier for it!

  3. How sweet – I LOVE to scrap my kids’ sayings and the witty things they come up with! She is so precious!

  4. Ahhh! That picture is PERFECT! I’m glad I discovered scrapbooking too, and pretty much the same time as you. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Sharon says:

My nine year old went to the doctor this morning who told us she had a sinus infection, bronchitis and maybe a touch of asthma.

She told her daddy that the doctor said she had sinus and amnesia!!!

    Definitely scrapworthy!

  6. This reminded me of my daughter, Caroline. When she was about Addie’s age, every meal she would say, “what you eating? what you drinking? what I drinking?”
