Friday FIVE for October 8th.

ONE.

Clark’s senior picture.
I emailed this to the yearbook editor just now.

Photographer: Mediocre
Subject: Drop dead handsome

TWO.

My breakfast this morning.
I’m eating quite a bit differently these days, and feeling better for it.
More information on this coming soon.

THREE.

I love spray paint.
This is my $5 garage sale high chair that I purchased in June.
I finally cleaned it up, painted it and put it in Addie’s room.

Totally makes me HAPPY.

FOUR.

Try this: Use a Sharpie permanent marker to color the gray part of your iPhone earphones. This accomplishes two things. One, it makes it easier to find them among the tangled mess of earphones that do not have a microphone. Two, maybe just maybe when you tell your kids, “Don’t touch the pink earphones, they’re mine!” Maybe they’ll listen.

FIVE.

I’m scrapbooking again!
I’ve created three pages (for an upcoming article in Scrapbook & Cards Today) and a whole new album concept for The Ultimate Scrapbook Cruise. I LOVE seeing a new album spread out on the floor of my studio. Such a HAPPY thing.

And … thank YOU to American Crafts, Scrapbook Pictures, Helmar USA for sponsoring my album class!
More details to follow.

Happy Friday.

  2. Stacy,

I’m going on The Ultimate Scrapbook Cruise too and can’t wait to take your class. Thanks for the little update!

    Happy Friday. :)

    • Lynsee,

I’m so glad to hear this. You’re the first person I’ve heard from (that I can remember.) Do me a favor and tell me when you get the email from ScrapMap (with instructions for preparing for my class) I’m getting really excited!

      • Will do. :)

ScrapMap called me a few days ago to make sure my mailing address was still the same. They are about to send luggage tags, itinerary, etc. She also mentioned that they were sending our supply list for our classes.

        I’m getting really excited too!

  3. You are amazing.

  4. 1. great idea about the earbuds!
    2. hard to believe clark is a senior–but then i look at my big guy and i know the clock is ticking with him too.

    4. we’ll be cruising around that area the week before you–are you already packing? my hubby says i should be mostly packed already.

  5. Sounds like things are going well for you. Boy that Clark is one good looking kid! The chair is adorable and I wish I could do that cruise, alas it isn’t in the cards for me. Have a wonderful day!

  6. I love how upbeat you are in this post. You made my day brighter by your happiness. It’s contagious!

  7. As always, love your Friday Five. I need to get the senior picture emailed to school as well – thanks for the push/reminder! LOVE the idea for the earbuds…COLOR!!!! Looking forward to hearing more about your healthy eating.
    Thanks for the continued inspiration!

  8. You’re so right! He is one great looking guy! Glad you are feeling better. What’s on your rice cake? I too have been spray painting lately….just last week I spray painted some Dollar Tree pumpkins brushed nickel. :) Oh…and I have to say, I would LOVE to be able to go on that cruise! Sounds dreamy!

  9. I am swooning over the floor (in your office, I assume). LOVE IT!

  10. Glad to hear you are making some pages to be seen in a magazine. I was just thinking this morning that I miss seeing your pages for inspiration. I love your style!! So fun!

  11. I love Clark’s senior picture. This weekend, I have been working on a spread for Jacob’s yearbook, too. This is a great opportunity to say thanks! With all that you have taught me through LOM and by example, it was so easy to find the pictures to use in the spread. And with Ali and Cathy’s help (who I met through BPS), I had the skills to incorporate the pictures into a digital page. So, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

    Leora

  12. Stacy, glad you are feeling better, and had time to scrap again.
