Merry Christmas

I think I love Christmas on a Saturday, because it feels like it is Christmas on Sunday too and I get one more chance to go to church and remember the true source of all that we celebrate.

We had a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful day yesterday.
As I’ve reflected on this season–all that I was able to do and all that I was not able to do, I want to say thank you for being a part of my life. I am still so amazed by this whole Internet thing and the connection, solace and friendship it can provide.

More this week (maybe) about gifts and activities. For today, know that I am grateful for the chance to reflect and be grateful.

Beautifully redundant isn’t it?

  1. What a GREAT photo! LOVE IT! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  2. I totally agree that Christmas on a Saturday is perfect. More days off, less hectic pace. Much needed relaxing times this Holiday! Happy Holidays, continue to enjoy!

  3. It is wonderful.

    Merry Christmas

  4. Merry Christmas to you and yours and may the New Year find you blessed with all the wealth of family and friends that you could ever want. :)

  5. Stacy,
Saw your post from earlier in December about drinking Soy milk. Speaking from experience please switch to almond milk. According to some very knowledgable people and based on my experience unfermented Soy is very hard on the digestive system and can if consumed daily wreck havoc on your hormones. Almond milk is easy to digest tastes great even kids love it, and does not mess with female hormones. Glad you are getting better and making positive changes. You are a wonderful, positive person please continue your personal journey.

  6. Merry Christmas, Stacy! I found this morning’s church service to be truly lovely and peaceful. As much as I want Christmas Eve to be that way, too, there is sometimes too much chatter in my brain that night!

  11. We had a wonderful and blessed Christmas too! And thank YOU for being part of my life too. I’m amazed daily at what I learn on the internet and the friends I have made. You are a blessing to us all!

  12. Drove through Liberty Lake on my way to Monroe and thought of you! I used to work in Liberty Lake – can not believe how it has changed! Hope you had a very Merry Christmas.

  13. Love the photo and your sentiments. Merry Christmas!

  14. I kinda like the Saturday Christmas too!

  15. I’m glad you and your family enjoyed a nice, peaceful Christmas day.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I am reading the Core Balance book. I am finding most of it interesting and am planning on putting some of it into action. But I have to admit, I laughed out loud in the middle of Panera’s when I read the schedule for what a “typical day” should look like. I think my fully retired, all children out of the house mother would have a hard time making that happen!

    • I know exactly the part you’re laughing about — it’s so crazy, huh? But there are things we can adapt and many of these things are helping me.

So glad to hear you’re reading this!

  17. I agree! The Saturday Christmas was wonderful as was Sunday! Actually we’ve been celebrating Christmas Dec 23-26. Still have one more present to give to my best buddy. Love the pic too!

  18. Me, too! This Christmas was the most relaxing one I can remember. Being on Saturday, I had an extra day to enjoy. I loved this holiday, glad you did, too.

  19. Love your photo perspective! We ended up with a different Christmas than we expected, but it’s still good and great timing for a cross country jaunt for a funeral. We saw different family than we usually see and will be able to commemorate a great man who touched many lives. Glad that you are taking the time to reflect and be grateful!
