Just got back from a walk with Kayce in the most pristine and sparkly white snow. It is so cold, yet the sun is shining and there is a calendar-esque vista at every turn. We all slept in this morning as we were up quite late early–it’s the teenager thing. We did a little Team Julian action after cold cereal and began taking down Christmas. Even with the Rose Bowl on in the background, we were impressively productive.
Off and on we’ve been working on what is proving to be the MOST difficult puzzle ever! Geoff is a puzzle champ and this one is taking hours and hours.
We’re a little bit farther along than this today, but it is slow going for sure. Even I sat with him for more than an hour a couple of nights ago. I felt a bit obligated, as this was a gift from me with a note, “something your wife wants!” attached.
When we’re done, I’m having this “Kandinsky, Study of Squares and Cirlces” framed for our new puzzle wall in the basement. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with this one wall for nearly 5 years — photos coming in the next month or so.
Hope you are well welcoming 2011 in a pleasing and refreshing way!
