Cutting Things Off (and Up!)

My surgery yesterday was a success! As I sit here on my bed with a slightly fuzzy head trying to take my mind off of my throbbing toe,  it might be a good time to express gratitude for the miracle of modern medicine and the marvel of heavy-duty pain relief.  That I can go to my doctor’s office and have a piece of bone cut off my toe and walk out a hour later is truly remarkable. That I can recover from the comfort of my home and enjoy the benefit of 4-hour doses of Hydrocodone is an extraordinary reality of contemporary life.

I am so, so grateful.

Since I had surgery yesterday I thought I would dedicate this post to cutting things off and up and give away a BRAND NEW paper trimmer from American Crafts. I came home from the CKU Reunion to find this new AC trimmer waiting for me and now that I’ve had some time to give it a go, I’d like to let you know more about it!

It’s called the Cutup Paper Trimmer. You can find it HERE or HERE.

From the AC website: American Crafts’ new Cutup Trimmers feature premium blades and secure cutting rails that lock paper into place, guaranteeing accuracy and precision while cutting. All blades and cutting bars are replaceable.

What I love (of course) is the color! I also love, love, love how easily the cartridges change out and how conveniently they fit into the edges of the trimmer for storage.  There are 7 blades to choose from and they are completely encased, so you are at zero risk for cutting anything off!

I’m such a “cut-up!”
But even better than my drug-induced humor is the fact that I’ve got a Cutup Trimmer to give away and I’ve chosen Kelly O. who left this comment, in response to my BPC Birthday post.

Happy birthday!
I know that I am definitely better a scrapbooker and photographer because of BPC classes.

Thanks to all who read my blog.
If you’re NOT Kelly O and need one of these cool trimmers, they are available at

By the way … I chatted with Noel, Izzy, Nancy and May last week on the Paperclipping Roundtable. I was able to extrovert a tad about my upcoming 4Experts class. I will absolutely be posting more soon, but wanted to encourage you to have a listen and learn a little more about Twelve (and a LOT more about double-page scrapbooking — the actual topic of this episode!) We are also giving away one seat in my class. Click HERE to learn more and leave a comment to enter.

I’ll be back with a fantastic offer from Compendium (the Live-Inspired people) for Thanksgiving weekend.
