I had a FANTASTIC weekend with my mom and sisters. We’ve been planning since Christmas to get together and it was everything I had anticipated! Clark also returned home from BYU on Wednesday night, so it’s been a busy (FUN) time around here AND … I haven’t had one free moment to update you on the Doodlebug Events slated for Saturday, May 5th in Salt Lake City.
Since I’m flying to Doodlebug headquarters to kick-off The Creative Crop AND since Doodlebug is the title sponsor for this FREE event, we thought it only fitting to hang out all day at Doodlebug and do some teaching and interacting with ANYONE who can make it!

If you want to learn more, here’s the scoop:
1. There will be two, three-hour events that feature 3 rotations, including a lecture-style class with me, a hands-on, create your own 8×8 album with Wendy Smedley and Doodlebug designers and a final hour to enjoy a delicious box lunch, delightfully fun make & takes and a special National Scrapbook Day store chock full of Doodlebug products at special prices.
Sounds like a lot of fun, wish I could be there but it’s a little far for me from Missoula right now. Love the pic of you, your sisters, and your mom!
What a fun thing to do with your sisters and Mom. I want to do this kind of stuff with my daughters and Daughter-in-Laws someday when they all grow-up. I hope you will expand on some of the activities you planned for this wonder event.

Oh my goodness…I love Doodlebug so much and have since i started scrapping in 1999. I even painted my scrapbook room Swimming Pool Blue this year! It almost gives me physical heartache that i am unable to attend this amazing event. …sigh… I love that Doodlebug has stayed true to their unique and inspiring style and colors over the years.

I was hoping to come, but gas to get there and back is $340 – hubby vetoed it.
I always forget gas. I consider cost of the class and the travel timing. . . I’m sad. I want to meet everyone and play.
