In Monday’s Mail …

Guess what (finally) came in the mail?
Really CUTE postage stamps from Doodlebug!

Check it out! I put the stamps on the WRONG corner of each card. I didn't realize this (of course) until I got to the post office. I've only been mailing things for 40 years, so I can totally see how I got confused. ha!

Today is therefore, my first, “In Monday’s Mail”  blog post, where I will share my weekly batch of cards …

  1. Karen Freeman says:

This is so exciting! Go happy mail! Go Stacy!

  2. This is so fun and inspirational!!!! I’ve got two girls in college and I think they’re going to be getting some happy mail from me ~ thanks for sharing such a great idea Stacy!

  3. I don’t know if you realize how serendipitious these things are sometimes, but Lucky’s mom is a cyber friend and she LOVES orange. We call her the queen of orange. I’m happy for her that she is getting this card. ps: I bought some general sentiment stamps today at my LSS so I can make more cards.

  4. Thanks for the inspiration. The mail I sent last week reached a friend at a time of parent health crisis that I didn’t know about. I believe we are part of a healing, Spirit moving, beautiful thing.

  5. The cards are darling. Congratulations to the lucky BPC members.

  6. Great cards Stacy, they will be really treasured I’m sure. My first card that I sent out was very well received too.

  7. Karen Schmidt says:

    So cute!

  8. Yay! Happy Mail! Love seeing the cards and reading the comments. Going through some of my card stash for the coming weeks. Looking forward to figuring out who I will be sending my cards to! Thanks, Stacy, for the inspiration!

  9. Stacy I can totally sympathize with putting the stamps on the wrong side… I sent a batch off with the stamps completely upside down.
Love the entire concept of the happy mail and so glad I’ve been able to participate in a small way. You are an inspiration. :)

  10. BARB T (MORMOR8) says:

Stacy, these are oh so very cute! I think the Doodlebug colors and product line are just perfect for Happy Mail. A few decades ago I sent out a batch of thank you’s for graduation gifts with stamps in the left hand corner – really smart graduate. I have missed out on my BP classes for the past few weeks due to my mother-in-law passing. The memorial service is this weekend after which I hope to have the inspiration and time to play in my Create and be Happy room. There is nothing like receiving a real card in the mail, and thus I shall be joining in on the Happy Mail campaign.

    • Barb,
I’m so sorry to hear of your mother-n-law’s passing. you’ll need some creative time to help you reflect and rejuvenate after the emotional drain of these weeks! Thanks for reading!

  11. Popping in to say that I just LOVE THIS!

  12. Bahaha! I was wondering why the stamps were on the wrong side. I’d be happy to get happy mail no matter what side the stamp was on.

  13. Super cute!!!

  14. Your cards are so cute! I think I need to do some Doodlebug shopping. :) I had an hour to make cards last night and so enjoyed the creative process and then this morning mailing them out. Thanks for the inspiration!

  15. These are sooo cute!!! LOVE the owl thinking of you card! Super cute cards and then they are coming from YOU, would certainly make anyone’s day:)

  16. The cards are super fun! I’m sorry to hear about the stamp mishap! I thought maybe you had just flipped the picture because you thought it would look better that way…isn’t it amazing how our minds (don’t) work! I’m betting the cards and recipients didn’t even know the difference! Thanks for sharing and for this fantastic idea!!!

could find a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m
having trouble finding one? Thanks a lot!
