I still LOVE color …

and I’m loving the Pantone picked 2014 color palette.

Addie’s bedroom has been mint green + pink since 2006, when we brought her home. I’m thinking it’s time for a change. I’m not super keen on repainting her entire room, so I started playing around with Hemlock (mintish green) + Dazzling Blue + Violet Tulip and I created a new board on Pinterest. I’m liking the possibilities.

Especially with some black and white thrown in. Here’s the beginning of a mood collection. Picture this with just the right chalkboard frame! You can see other items I’ve pinned HERE.

And, if you want to learn more about the 2014 colors …

Have a GREAT weekend!

  1. “Especially with some black and white thrown in.” And you still love B&W thrown in. Of course it spills over from scrapbooking to home décor.
My daughters are ready for some new colours too. I love painting though. From the Pantone choices I can see Hemlock, Cayenne and either Violet Tulip or Placid Blue.

  2. Oooh, pretty! And YES, scrapbooking definitely spills over into home decor at my house {smile} Thanks for your comments — it makes me happy to SEE your name everyday!!

  3. Hey, good to see you back!

Now, I’ve been trying to persuade my daughter that she really doesn’t want to paint her bedroom walls RED… Love colour, but everything in moderation…

  4. It’s so much fun to update a room – great color choices! I just finished re-arranging our front room yesterday, moved several pieces of furniture around & added a new Expedit unit (to be my new Memory Shelf). It’s amazing how much those few changes make it feel like a new room!

  5. I like it! My family room has a similar color scheme. The only real difference is that the purple is dark and the blue is light. The green is practically identical. LOL
