For the past three years (2006, 2007, 2008) I have gathered a list of potential Christmas gifts that I find and LOVE in various catalogs and online. I am NOT a big fan of starting Christmas too early — I like each holiday to have it’s special time. However, because I want to be less focused on traditional gift-giving in December this year and because I want you to have plenty of time to use the ideas I share … I am introducing a new version of the “12 Days of Christmas” each Friday in November.
So, here we go … Welcome to the Christmas List 2009.
Today’s focus is scrapbooking. Big surprise, right? Since we still have plenty of time to create scrapbook gifts and since scrapbooking products make wonderful gifts themselves, I think this is a great place to start. I have rounded up some of my most favorite albums, tools and consumables ALL for your scrapbooking and gift-giving delight!
ONE.
Box Set of 4×6 Photo Albums
Perfect for Photo Album Scrapbooking and available from Jenni Bick in FIVE color combinations for only $16
Also at Jenni Bick, are these *limited quantity* KOLO matchbook style brag books ($7) I have loved KOLO since I featured them in my book Simple Scrapbooks, back when our “industry” had yet to embrace smaller albums at all!
TWO.
This has been out on my island in my studio ever since the first day I got it. I cannot even say how much I adore my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. That’s why it is #2 on my list! Comes with 100 tiny (and I mean tiny) staples for under $15.00 at Scrapbook Pal. Get one for a friend and then put it on your stocking stuffer list!
THREE.
Bazzill Basics Christmas cardstock I just think this is a great collection of holiday and winter colors to see you through the next several months and right now at Scrapbook.com, you save a buck.
And … I really like the *NEW* Merry & Bright collection from We R Memory Keepers …

FOUR.
Scalloped felt from Martha Stewart Crafts at Scrapbook.com
No other explanation needed — just plain cute!
AND … Hello? Baker’s Twine in three combinations. I don’t mean to frustrate you, but this is already sold out (more coming soon) at Scrapbook.com
If you have a Michael’s near you, you might have good luck there!
P.S. please check out the whole line of Martha stuff (especially the gift tags and home decor kits)
FIVE.
Last, but certainly not least, The Ribbon Bundle from KI Memories
How can you beat 30 spools (90 feets) of colorful self-adhesive ribbon for $9.99. This is another *limited quantity* on sale item. Have a WONDERFUL weekend.

Hello,
stacyjulian.com – da best. Keep it going!
Socco
Stacy would you please stop doing this to me? You find such great stuff, that I totally fall in love with, only to discover there is no shipping to Canada. Thus I am left dreaming of the great things that could have been.
Stacy – love the twine. I have a bunch of pastel colors from spring. I have used mine in the past for buttons. It is thinner than ribbon and easier to thread through the button holes than fiber strands. It also ties really nice bows.
I am curious to know how you keep the covers of the American Crafts Modern Album looking nice, I have a few of these albums and the corners are starting to separate. Any suggestions?
I’ve seen the twine at 2 peas–just wondering how you are using it?
Great list, Stacy. The links on the last three are not working

I stayed up too late! I fixed two of the three — will work on the 3rd one later. Thanks for the heads up!
Yay Stacy – I’m so happy you’re doing this a bit earlier this year! You always make the holiday so much fun!
I love my tiny attacher, use it on everything since I got it in August, it’s so handy! Great list, I’m looking forward to seeing your other finds.
