It’s *my* first day of summer (here, at home.) I don’t have to wake anybody up or get anyone off to anywhere early.
I still have two unpacked suitcases, huge piles of laundry and lots catching up to do, but that’s OK, a lot can be accomplished in one day.
What you really need to know is that I’m hosting the Write. Click. Scrapbook. blog this week.
In an effort to save my sanity, I’m declaring it “makes me happy” week here.
Each day I’ll share just one or two things that are making me happy right now.
Hopefully, after you’ve checked in here, you’ll click over to WCS for more!
Yesterday I opened several boxes that arrived while I was away. One of them had three copies of the summer 2010 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today. This is because I am writing a series of articles for them. I have not written for a magazine since the demise of Simple Scrapbooks and I have to tell you that seeing my article in print was so FUN.
This magazine makes me happy!
It is printed on beautiful, high quality paper and the design is light and airy.
You can download an e-copy of this issue for FREE or subscribe on their website.
You can also leave me a comment telling me whether you read or have ever read this magazine (YES or NO) and I’ll select one random comment (on Friday, July 2nd) to send an issue to.
After all my years of scrapbooking, it still makes me happy to create a little mini-book in an evening. This little 4×4 scrapbook is pictured in my article. It’s a collection of personality snapshots dedicated to Addie and it’s housed in a mini-book from Close To My Heart. The pattern paper is from this Basic Grey collection.
Here are a few more images …
Oh, and the fact that YOU read my blog, also makes me very happy.
See you over at Write. Click. Scrapbook.
