2 FUN ideas for Valentines

In lieu of my Happy Friday series, which has only experienced one post (ha!) I thought I’d remind you how HAPPY holidays make me. I am a holiday girl. I LOVE anticipating, preparing for and celebrating holidays, and Valentine’s Day is one of my MOST favorite days. Here, for your pinning  pleasure are two fun and EASY ideas for Valentines for school-aged children. I realize that it’s too late for this year, but you can pin these for future reference!

ONE. Soda You Want to be My Valentine?

Addie and I made these last year. All you have to do is purchase little bottles of pop/soda and use your stash of pattern paper to wrap a label around the middle of each bottle. You can print or write the message, “Soda you want to be my Valentine?” on each. Note: I actually downloaded digital patterns and created these labels on my computer (this btw is HUGE for me. I’m so NOT tech-savvy, but it wasn’t hard!)

Optionally, you can print small photos of your child and include them on a note card attached via ribbon to the top of the bottle.

TWO. Cereal-ously, Be My Valentine!

How CUTE are these? Purchase small boxes of cold cereal and wrap them up cute in a cellophane bag …

and attach a tag with the message, “Cereal-ously, Be My Valentine.” Note: Addie colored the hearts!

Happy Valentine’s Day (I LOVE my very patient blog readers!)
