Addie + Audrey Day | 2.2020
The first day of every month in our family is Addie Day. This is because Addie was born on July 1st. Well, guess what happened over the weekend? Audrey Rose Julian was born. Yep, on February 1st at 3:08am and later that morning, Aunt Addie came with me to the hospital to meet her. We were spending some time together, holding this adorable little baby when it really dawned on me that it was February 1st. I turned to Addie and said, “Today is Addie Day!” And then I said, “It’s also no Audrey Day—are you ok with that?”
Her answer: Yes.
I think these two are going to be fast friends. I think they will bond for reasons other than they were born on the first day of the month and other than the fact that both of their names start with A, but seriously, what FUN facts to share with a new niece.
While we were in Seattle I was able to talk to my boys, Chase and Taft—and send them photos. Trey, as you might remember is serving a mission in Mexico. I thought it might be fun to make him a short video of Audrey’s entrance. I sent it to him with a few photos this morning.
🎀 We are so delighted and grateful for the safe arrival of our newest family member. And excited that Addie will share her day with someone so special—of course I’m post dating this so that it falls on February 1st for the future!
FUN Fact: I have both a niece and a nephew also born on February 1st. Shout out to Nika Hall Bateman and Elder Julian Hall (currently serving a mission in Michigan) Clearly, February first is a great day to be born.
