Friday FIVE for 7.24.20
It’s time for a Friday FIVE. I know this because I keep a list of things I discovered, purchased, LOVE and use in the Reminders app on my phone and it’s getting pretty long …
ONE. Colorful (bamboo) toothbrushes
I recently thought to myself, I wonder if there is some FUN and COLORFUL toothbrush that I could buy and leave out for guests when they come visit—of course there is—and they are even made from bamboo!
Natural, biodegradable and 100% inviting. And yes you are—invited. Come stay and know you can “forget” your toothbrush and I’ve got you covered.
TWO. Good Culture cottage cheese
I found this Good Culture cottage cheese at my local Costco and I LOVE it for what it doesn’t have in it and what it does! See Nutrition label ➡️ ➡️
I do love a good whole-milk yogurt, but if you’re serious about counting your carbs—for keto or better blood sugar control—this cottage cheese is a better choice. Plus it has probiotics for your gut.
I made a super YUMMY lunch the other day with this cottage cheese, chopped celery, fresh raspberries and nutty granola. The whole time I was eating it I was saying YUM out loud, ha!
THREE. Persnickety Box
I’ve been WAITING for the launch of Persnickety Box for a very LONG time.
I adore Persnickety Prints—the quality of the photos are unsurpassed. But, alas—I am such a procrastinator that I rarely build in enough time to upload and order my project photos with them. I end up sending images to my local Walgreens—and don’t get me wrong, I’m super grateful they are 2-minutes away, but I have wished that there was a way for me to somehow subscribe to a regular flow of my own supply of Persnickety prints and NOW THERE IS. Please go follow them on instagram and start getting prints off your phone and into your hands!
The Persnickety Box app is NOW available for iOs and it is so easy to use. Why not sign up and just know that you’ll be receiving awesome prints to simply store or use—however YOU choose!
FOUR. Butter Crock
I LOVE butter. And, actually I have had a butter crock for years (thanks Darci) but a few months ago, it broke. I was super sad because it was my favorite color of green and it was a Le Creuset so kinda pricey. We tried fixing it a few times with super glue, but no luck. I decided to check on Amazon and see what I could find.
Enter Sweese! And my new 💛💛💛 crock was on it’s way. Watch the video above to see how a butter crock works and I’m pretty sure you’ll be sold. You’re days of too hard, too soft or too messy butter will be gone forever and you’ll have a CUTE way to bring the butter to your table—even when guests are present.
FIVE. Simple Stories Flipbooks
I have used the SEI Preservation binders for years and I LOVE them. There are a super skinny way of storing a scrapbook project and for a long time now I’ve had a DIFFICULT time finding them. Enter Simple Stories and their NEW Flipbooks. Yay!! There are currently 3 on their way to me from Scrapbook.com and I already know how I’ll be using the first one. I’ll be sure to share that here on my blog!
IF you have found something you LOVE, I hope you’ll share it with me!
