My Chase is 26 š„³ TODAY!
Where did ALL my little boys go? And, how am I old enough to have ALL these adult (and adulting) men?
CRAZY.
Today, November 12th is my #2 son, Chaseās birthday. He is 26 and I ADORE HIM. He is a Stars Wars super fan, a billing and collections manager with Ardent Pest Control, a fairly new owner of Hyundai Tucson, a loving uncle and a fantastic friend to all. I will randomly text him and ask, āWhat are you up to?ā and he will often reply with a photo of friends. He instinctively goes out of his way to just be nice and often notices the name of essential workers or people in the service industry and addresses them with their first name. Heās also got a natural eye for photography!
Not long after Chase turned 24, I created a few Short Story pagesāfor a CTMH catalog shootāwith the intention of finishing the album for his 25th birthday. When I started teaching 20in20 this year, I added āFinish Chase albumā to my list of 20 projects. AND, you guessed it, even though Iāve been very productive with my project making I managed to procrastinate this one to the 11th hour š³ but thatās ok, because I knew exactly what to do, put on a podcast and GO ā¦
I FINISHED in 2 hours on Sunday afternoon. š
Because I have a system that supports how I want to create, I can sit down and do what I want to do. I do not spend time searching for photos (and yes, this is a shameless plug for Photo Freedom), I just get to CREATE!
Anywho, I embellished the cover and added photos to the inside front and back covers on Monday morning, but I knew how to put everything togetherāBECAUSEāI invented this awesome, time-saving process, that I now call Short Story. You can learn more here.
IF you want to create a gift for someone you love for Christmas this year, you need THIS KIT. (another shameless plug!) And, whatās extra cool is you can now purchase these super FUN 6x6 albums and pair them with whichever paper you want. Iām going to use this album with these papers for a quick & easy holiday gift album.
THIS little book features 50 photos of Chase representing 25+ years of life. Inside is his motherās handwriting, expressing her affection and admiration. Plus, I threw some candy in his box tooāto sweeten the deal.
š„³ Not a bad birthday present if you ask me.
