My Son Chase
There are some long and winding roads in life and motherhood can take us down many of them. On today’s show I have the pleasure of chatting with my son Chase, who is currently attending college—something that 10 years ago I doubted would ever happen. Chase was born with a developmental delay and was diagnosed with ADHD as a young boy. He is well acquainted with the feeling of not being enough and yet he has not given up on life or his goals. Our conversation is in response to another mother and another son, who are dealing with the challenges of a beautiful, bright, active, but differently wired brain. I think you’ll find this episode entertaining and encouraging. I’m so grateful to Chase for sharing his thoughts.
