Stories of Things

Holding our beliefs, hopes and dreams.

Things can be events, like holidays, birthdays, concerts, recitals, performances and ball games, but things are also possessions and personal treasures.

If you value something little or big or old or odd, it is likely because of what it could tell you, if it could talk. So, armed with your camera, watch especially for the little things, and as you go about your daily routine, begin to photograph what you buy and use and collect—things that bring beauty and meaning to your environment and things you love and wouldn’t want to live without. Of course we know that the best things in life are the things we believe, hope for and dream of.

And the really cool thing about all of these things?

They almost always unlock stories that will illuminate personalities and experiences and relationships that we may otherwise miss in our storytelling.
