💛 There is so much to do and explore!
I love to scrapbook. I do. But, I also love LOTS of other things, so at the end of 2021 when students in one of my yearlong classes asked if I was going to teach again I thought (and said) Nope. It was time to take a break and to create more space for other things. One of these students asked if I couldn’t just create a space where people could gather for encouragement and accountability. Maybe I could simply share what I was working on and others could do. At first my answer was a hard no, but that suggestion kept tickling my heart and ✨SPARKED✨ my imagination. It grew into an actual idea.
An idea that I had a very difficult time putting down.
In January I chose IMAGINE for my word for 2022, because I wanted to continue to play with this idea of a class that never ends, a virtual place where people could gather and where stories could grow.
Before LONG I knew I was in trouble. In my mind I had in fact created the online destination that I needed—the place that I would want to keep in my back pocket for connection and creating.
💛 I don’t want to just tell stories. I want to live with stories in mind. I want to be intentional about making memories and I want to have rituals that support my creative expression. I need a strong, ongoing digital workflow that allows me to find photos and memorabilia when I find time. I want to be aware of and grateful for ALL that is good and right in life and be open to trying new things.
