The topic is THINGS, I was challenged to start with memorabilia, to define something in my journaling and to draw inspiration from a specific color combination.
This is Story #29
I gathered some of the ephemera-like things I save in my cultural memorabilia box to arrange on my page—these are mostly product labels and packaging or tags and stickers from food and goods that I use and enjoy. There is so much of life that isn’t captured in our photos. Memories can be triggered and illustrated in bits and pieces and they add interest and texture to our stories!
Every now again I create a process video too …
✳️ I’m so proud of ME.
I’m engaged in this yearlong effort along with a few hundred of my favorite friends in my online course, Story52. Because of this class I’ve rediscovered my page-making groove and fallen in love again with the creative process that unfolds in my basement studio. Life gets busy and we age and priorities shift and technology and social media continue to change how we document and share. But I LOVE what I do and how I do it. This class has helped me remember that AND it has allowed me to consistently add stories to my library of memories.
This class is going away.
I’m closing registration on August 1st.
